I just read a great article on headaches and how much is spent on headaches each year.  Headaches cost employers $24 billion dollars a year!  This is due to insurance and lost time at work (and probably more when you consider those that work with a headache and have poor performance)  I have listed below a great article that describes this in more detail.

I have been a chiropractor since 1993.  I have been practicing chiropractic here in Everett since 2000.   I am always amazed at the amount of times someone will come into the office with neck and upper back pain and when I ask them if they have headaches they say “yes, but this that is normal.”  Sometimes people will have a headache 5 days a week and think that is normal.  They will also think that taking Advil, Tylenol or Excedrin everyday is normal also.

One thing I am not amazed at is when I treat a patient for neck and upper back pain a few times and they come in and tell me, “My headaches are gone.”  So often people think they are so normal they do not even mark headaches as a complaint.  This is usually the patient that is the most grateful when they go a couple weeks without a headache.

Take a look at this article.  If you have headaches and know nothing about Chiropractic care and live close to Everett I would love the opportunity to see if chiropractic care can help you.
